1. What is Mandarin Chinese?
Mandarin is "standard pronounced" Chinese. There is only one Chinese language while
there are so many different dialects. The writing system is all the same no matter what
dialect you speak.  All national television and radio channels speak Mandarin Chinese.

2. Mandarin has the simplified Chinese characters and the traditional
characters. Which is the best for us to learn?
In Taiwan and Hong Kong, people are still learning the traditional Chinese characters,
while in mainland China, we've already developed the Chinese characters several times,
and only the simplified Chinese characters are taught at all the schools and universities.
They don't teach the traditional characters any simplified Chinese characters. And it's
much easier to write for you.  So if you desire to learn Chinese, and want to travel to
China Mainland later on. Mandarin Chinese (simplified) is the best for you.  We'll also talk
about traditional characters in Level 1, so you can compare them.

Yes, you can learn! Chinese characters do look complicated but in fact there is a system

us, you'll see it's fun and interesting to write. You will believe that you can write them
without any difficulties at all! It's very interesting and fun. Try it out at your 1st lesson.

your 1st lesson, then you can evaluate our program by yourself. Just in case, if you
